The Burton Velo Auto-refractor uses an infrared beam to objectively measure a patient’s prescription for glasses.  This gives Dr. Kennedy a great starting point to begin the refraction, making it easier and quicker.

The Oculus Easyfield Visual Fields Analyzer is used to plot the peripheral visual field.  Patients are screened with the Field Analyzer to aid in early detection of mini-strokes and other neurological disorders as well as glaucoma.

Fundus Photography allows us to use a specialized camera to see a larger area of the interior of your eye: the retina, optic disc, macula, and posterior pole (i.e. the fundus). This allows diagnosis, progression tracking and basic analysis of your eye.
